Starbucks is at it again
I was hated by many and re-blogged with 100 arguments on tumblr years ago for my anti-starbucks rant (original here, final linked in the previous text) - and hey, look who’s at it again. Starbucks, raising rent and forcing small business owners to close up shop. Gee, sounds EXACTLY like this. I am so disgusted with this company - they are no better than Wal Mart. PLEASE stop patronizing them...

Overheard in line at the grocery store last night:
Dad: Ok, hand me the salad container

Dad: Because we have to pay for it now.

I feel very strongly that the word “elegant” should only be used in reference to evening gowns, and “luxurious” should only be used when referencing bedding and very occasionally upholstery. Any other use of either word is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me.
Banana is For Lovers
While wasting time tonight I wondered if there is a town anywhere called “Banana” because if there is I’d really like to go there and get a shirt that says “Someone in Banana Loves Me” or “I went to Banana and all I got was this crappy T-shirt” or “Banana is For Lovers”.
I looked it up and it turns out there is one (!!who knew??) but it looks...
