My friend living in NY from Germany just sent me the greatest party invite ever. She took a photo of her fridge with word magnets about the party holding up a post-it with the time/date and a subway map with a little red sticker over her address. The photo is a webpage and when you click it, it sends you to a google map with her address.

It’s so much cooler than it sounds and the whole thing probably took about 10 minutes. I’ll post it when the party is over and she has moved, then the privacy thing won’t be an issue.

Highlights include but are not limited to:

“The transvestites first appeared in March when they raided Magazine Street like a marauding army of kleptomaniacal showgirls, said Davis, using clockwork precision and brute force to satisfy high-end boutique needs.”

“Next door at Winky’s, Bonga heard people screaming inside Vegas, then saw a blur of cheap wigs and masculine legs in designer shoes streak past her door.”

“Sometimes they come dressed as men, though Bonga said it is obvious who they are based on their delicately plucked eyebrows. Sometimes they bring 2-year-old children to add to the level of distraction. They once returned to Vegas holding an “infant” that really was a Cabbage Patch doll wrapped in a blanket.”

“The transvestites, Ogle said, appear to be drug-addicted and fearless in their lust for designer shoes, jackets and jewelry.”

Diddy Riese ice cream cookie sandwiches. At $1.25, they are hands down the best deal in Los Angeles.
I just got goosebumps. Seriously.

Uniqlo really sucks.
Boooooring!

But if you can get past the generic polo shirts ala JCrew 1995 and the wannabe quirky graphic tees ala 2005, the jeans are amazing! and cheap! and they have free same-day tailoring!

More on the N.O. Tranny gangs:

“But other thieves filled the vacuum created by the decrease in transvestite shoplifting. Large teenager gangs and gay men wearing dreadlocks and multicolored pastel sweatshirts have emerged as prime suspects”

Another article about the Tranny gang epidemic in New Orleans. I LOVE that the gay men apparently have a gang uniform of multicolored pastel sweatshirts.

(And another article here. Thanks to Alicia for the links!)
